How much Internet connection do I need?
Just like any other streaming device or service, Amazon fire stick require a good internet connection and speed to get the best out of the device. The minimum required for SD(Standard definition) streaming is 5mbps, for HD (High Definition) streaming, you require at least 7Mbps. For 4K streaming, please ensure you have at least 15Mbps speed. The better your internet speed, the better the streaming. Video streaming can be pretty taxing on your internet connection, especially where you have multiple devices sharing your internet at the same time.
Can I use my Firestick Remote to control my TV?

The difference between Firestick Standard and 4K?
Fire TV Stick 4K is an ultra HD 2160p device that supports HDR protocols. More pixels mean, more picture clarity. Standard Firestick supports up to 1080p only. But, in order to watch 4K quality videos, your TV must have a 4K display.
If your TV resolution is 1080p only then there is no need to get the 4K Version. That being said, the 4K version does have a 2GB Ram in comparison to the Standard model with 1GB Ram memory.
Amazon Firestick 4K also support Dolby Atmos sound but there is no such feature available on the standard Firestick. Also, the 4K version is supporting HDR 10 protocols which provides outstanding sound quality along with video clarity.
